End of the World is a short film inspired by the loneliness and isolation many of us felt during the COVID-19 pandemic, the loss of a family member, and the general toughness of life. In the film, we follow Ray Sommers, who has recently been dealing with multiple difficult life events. Towards the end of my college career my friends and I realized that if we wanted to do film after school we would need to create our own projects to start as there is no clear path in this industry. I already had an idea for a film with a large metaphor so I gathered a group and they helped gather more and we made it a reality. It has come a long way from preproduction and filming in 2022, post production in 2023, then first of a few final cuts being ready for festivals in early 2024. I am proud that we got into two film festivals LIIFE (Long Island Film Expo) and Yofi (The Yonkers Film Festival). Thank you so much for watching!
